As if the sky is showing off one last time before darkness totally blankets the horizon – that’s what sunsets are for me. Nothing caps off an adventure than witnessing a burst of colors raging across the sky telling you your trip is definitely worth it.
For sunset lovers out there, I have compiled a list of my favorite sunsets which I considered are the best sunsets in the Philippines.
A quick guide that would definitely help you choose your next travel destination and continue chasing on that raging sunset!
Sunset in Moalboal taken in May
Moalboal, Cebu, Philippines
This place is not only one of the best diving spots in Cebu with its diverse range of corals but also the best place to experience a beautiful sunset. You will be able to witness a sky filled with vivid orange color as the sun hides at the back of the mountains of Negros just right across the popular white sand beach of Moalboal.
Sunset in Olango Island taken in April
Olango Island, Cebu, Philippines
Just by the port in Sta. Rosa in Olango Island, be sure to stay for a little while before heading back to Mactan Island and wait to see the display of orange colors spreading across the mountains of Cebu.

Sunset in Nagsasa Cove taken in January
Nagsasa Cove, Zambales, Philippines
A sunset all to yourself. Totally serene view with serene surroundings. I love Nagsasa Cove! Not many people flocks this place because of its remote location but it’s totally worth a visit – the best place for camping and sunset watching!

Sunset in Malapascua taken in April
Malapascua, Cebu, Philippines
This list wouldn’t be complete without this beautiful island found in the northern most part of Cebu dubbed as The Little Boracay of Cebu. A sunset you will surely fall in love with. Sip your favorite concoction at Blue Corals Resort’s mini bar while enjoying the spectacular sunset.

Sunset in Siargao taken in November
Siargao Island, Surigao del Norte, Philippines
My all-time favorite! Took this photo after our surfing session in Jacking Horse. A very cozy cafe named Cafe Loka is the closest cafe you could find in this area and I would recommend this place if you want to enjoy this view.
